The district is starting Phase 2 of the district-wide initiative to install projectors with "Active Board +2" resources in every instructional classroom at all schools within a twelve month period.  This contract will provide professional development services to all Phase 2 educators.  Members of this phase include 50% of the teachers at every school.  Training will include (3) full-day sessions.  All training will be interactive and includes both lecture and hands-on segments.  To accommodate our needs, this course will be delivered in two parts.  Part 1 includes 2 days of instruction; to be delivered May 31 & June 1.  The 3^rd day will be Part 2, which will be delivered in August.

That the contract for professional development services between Promethean and the School Board of Sarasota County be approved as presented.
